John Hoffmann Awarded 2026 Tau Sigma Delta Architecture Medal from University of Hartford

Hoffmann recognized by honor society chapter for contributions to the field of architecture

West Hartford, Conn. —  Hoffmann Architects + Engineers, a design firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, announces that founder and Executive Chairman John J. Hoffmann, FAIA was selected as the recipient of the 2026 Silver Medal from the University of Hartford’s Gamma Nu Chapter of the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society for Architecture and the Allied Arts, the highest honor awarded by the local organization to a practicing professional.

John J. Hoffmann, FAIA was awarded the Tau Sigma Delta Medal from the University of Harford for “outstanding design work and years of service to the profession and the academy.” A national honor society for architecture and design students, Tau Sigma Delta admits members whose academic performance falls in the top 10% of the student body and who have demonstrated not only scholastic achievement, but also leadership and character. Members of each Tau Sigma Delta chapter select one professional in the field of architecture, landscape architecture, or the allied arts as the recipient of the Silver Medal, the chapter’s highest honor.
