Hoffmann Wins 2025 AIA New England Emerging Professional Friendly Firm Award

Hoffmann Architects + Engineers, a design firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, was recognized for commitment to the advancement of emerging professionals with the 2025 Emerging Professional Friendly Firm Award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New England Components.

Comprised of AIA chapters from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont, the New England AIA Components recognize firms that actively foster the professional development and personal growth of emerging professionals through policies, initiatives, and opportunities. Hoffmann was selected in 2022, 2023, 2024, and now in 2025 as a recipient of the AIA New England Emerging Professional Friendly Firm designation for initiatives that promote the advancement of Emerging Professionals through professional development and personal growth opportunities.

The AIA defines “Emerging Professionals” as those “who have completed their academic studies up to the point of licensure or up to 10 years after completion of their academic studies.” (AIA Center for Emerging Professionals)

Hoffmann Architects + Engineers will be honored at the 2025 New England Architecture Awards ceremony on October 24, 2025, hosted by AIA New Hampshire at Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club, Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
