Robert G. Delagrange
Senior Business Development Manager
With over 25 years of sales and management experience, Bob has worked in various capacities, including 18 years within the AEC industry. He studied at the University of Connecticut to earn his bachelor’s degree prior to pursuing an MBA from the University of New Haven.
His role with Hoffmann Architects + Engineers is to identify, develop, and maintain client relationships across southern New England, focusing predominantly on healthcare, higher education and independent schools, and corporate facilities. His collaboration with the firm’s seasoned architects and engineers has helped Hoffmann address the building enclosure challenges faced by the facilities and real estate professionals we work with regularly.
Bob currently serves as co-chair of the programs committee for Connecticut Building Congress (CBC), and he is an active member of the International Association for Museum Facilities Administrators (IAMFA), CoreNet, and New England Healthcare Engineers Society (NEHES) – including the Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island Chapters. He also regularly attends events hosted by Professional Women in Construction (PWC), the Construction Institute, Greater Hartford Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and other industry organizations.
Outside the office, Bob manages a busy schedule through his involvement with the Howard Whittemore Memorial Library as Board President, and the Congregational Church of Naugatuck as Business Committee Chair and Trustee. In his free time, Bob performs regularly with a couple of horn bands, playing trumpet and flugel horn. In addition, he enjoys classic cars, motorcycles, water skiing, snow skiing, fishing, and spending time with his wife, two kids and their dog.
