Inspection

Boston

IS YOUR BUILDING A HIGH-RISE?

Boston

In 1995, the City of Boston passed an ordinance amending Municipal Code section 9-9.12 to mandate periodic exterior wall inspection.  Occupied buildings over seventy feet tall, or those classified as “high-rise,” must undergo inspection of all building faces every five years.  Unoccupied buildings over 35,000 sf must be evaluated annually.

We’ve been inspecting Boston buildings longer than the Inspectional Services Department has.

Since our first Boston project in 1979, Hoffmann Architects + Engineers has provided assessment, reporting, and design services for a number of Boston-area buildings.  Find out what we can do for yours.
