Hoffmann Architects Announces Promotions of Mahmuti, Miller, and Off
January 2019 – Hoffmann Architects, an architecture and engineering firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, is pleased to announce the promotion of members of the technical staff.
Tai Mahmuti, PE has been promoted to Project Engineer, in recognition of his advanced credentials, experience, and contributions to the firm. After joining Hoffmann Architects in 2015 as Project Coordinator, he demonstrated an eagerness and capacity for refining his understanding of building enclosure systems, and his precocity earned him a promotion to Senior Project Coordinator in 2017 and to Project Manager later that year. A convivial team member and trusted resource for addressing challenging structural problems, Mahmuti provides engineering services for complex projects, including Scholastic headquarters in SoHo, Bank of New York Mellon at 101 Barclay Street, and Greenwich West, a new development at 110 Charlton Street in Hudson Square. His recent published work includes articles on sidewalk vault safety and storefront rehabilitation in ENR New York, Building Design + Construction and the Hoffmann Architects JOURNAL. Mahmuti earned an engineering degree from Carleton University in Ontario and is a licensed structural engineer in the State of New York. He lives in Manhattan.
