Hoffmann Promotes Chelsea Doyle to Staff Accountant

Doyle assumes greater responsibility for finance and accounting activities

Hoffmann Architects + Engineers, a design firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, announces the promotion of Chelsea Doyle, recognizing her experience, her exemplary work ethic, and her increased responsibilities.

Chelsea M. Doyle has earned a promotion to Staff Accountant. In this role, she is responsible for activities in all areas of finance and accounting, providing transparency and accuracy in the firm’s financial management. Her responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, maintaining accurate ledgers and financial data, supporting tax preparation and audits, and preparing reports to track the financial health of the firm. Efficient and conscientious, Doyle is known for her sound judgment and sense of ownership over her work, which result in adept management of her varied responsibilities.

“Chelsea’s promotion is a testament to the positive impact she has had on the accounting department. She takes on any task, big or small, with diligence, professionalism, and a can-do attitude. I am excited to celebrate Chelsea’s well-earned achievement and even more excited to work alongside her as she grows into this new role.”
— Rachel A. Mesite, Corporate Secretary

Doyle began her tenure with Hoffmann in 2017, when she joined as Finance Associate, supporting the accounting team in processing timesheets and expense reports and managing agreements. Recognizing her capability, Hoffmann promoted Doyle to Finance Coordinator and, later, to Senior Finance Coordinator. As her experience grew, she was eager to assume new responsibilities and began seeing projects through their full life cycle, from preparing agreements and managing billing meetings to assisting with collections and preparing close-out documentation. Doyle also oversaw day-to-day operation of the firm’s New York office, managing administrative tasks while handling her finance responsibilities. She even found time to plan team-building events, including last year’s popular ping-pong tournament, and join community service initiatives, such as Habitat for Humanity and a United Way food bank garden clean-up.

Doyle earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven. She is also a licensed Notary Public in New York. In her off hours, Doyle spends her free time in nature and enjoys hiking, camping, and solving puzzles with friends and family.

Hoffmann Architects + Engineers recognizes Chelsea Doyle for her contributions to the culture and operation of the firm, and for her positivity and openness to learning that make her such a well-liked part of the team.
