Hoffmann Architects + Engineers is pleased to announce that Chelsea Doyle has earned a promotion to Finance Coordinator in recognition of her increasing financial acumen and contributions to the firm.

Chelsea Doyle first joined Hoffmann Architects + Engineers in 2017 as Finance Associate for the Corporate office. In 2018, she relocated to California, then returned to Hoffmann in 2020. In 2022, the leadership team, recognizing Doyle’s dependability and ease with managing competing tasks, offered her the opportunity to move to the New York office, where she gained additional office administration responsibilities.

Doyle’s dedication, attention to detail, and organizational skills have made her an essential member of the finance and administrative team. As one of the few who worked in the office daily during the pandemic, she was instrumental in keeping the firm and the finance department running smoothly. Her ability to manage complex tasks, work collaboratively with various departments, and maintain a high level of accuracy earned accolades from management for her excellent work and consistent results.

Always ready to take on any project given to her, Doyle has become the point person for timesheet and expense report submissions and processing. She was tasked with creating and distributing novation agreements for 70+ active New York projects, changing the business name from Hoffmann Architects, Inc. to Hoffmann Architects + Engineers DPC. This project required her to spend several months following up with clients and facilitating the agreement execution process. She also recently assisted with implementing an electronic approval process for vendor invoices. The firm’s information technology team regularly depends on Doyle for supporting hardware, including laptops, desktop computers, cameras, printers and plotters, and conference room technology.

When Hoffmann’s New York City office relocated, Doyle devoted many hours to unpacking and organizing, as well as coordinating with the landlord and contractors to set up the new space. She continues to serve as the liaison to facility management and contractors to ensure smooth operation of the New York office. In her spare time, she is studying to become a licensed New York State notary.

Doyle earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Connecticut State University. Passionate for helping others, she participated in the Hoffmann Diversity & Inclusion Committee’s Habitat for Humanity build day in New Haven CT. She also volunteered for the United Way of Greater New Haven through Hoffmann’s outreach service opportunities, where she helped to create a new garden alongside the entrance to the Guilford Food Bank. When she isn’t working, Doyle enjoys spending time outside, visiting the beach, hiking, and camping with family and friends.

Hoffmann Architects + Engineers recognizes Chelsea Doyle for her valuable contributions to the firm’s workplace and to the community where we live and work. We look forward to her continued success in her new role.
