Kelvin Lee, Assoc. AIA
Project Associate
A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.Arch. degree, Kelvin earned multiple awards for his contributions to the school. He took advantage of the program’s experience-driven curriculum to build skills in project planning, field documentation, and design development while interning with an architecture practice. After graduation, he developed his detailing repertoire as an architectural drafter for a window and door manufacturer, which honed his focus on key installation details and transitions.
This attention to the kind of detailing that is often overlooked, combined with site experience coordinating among disciplines and adapting to field conditions, affords Kelvin the skillset that characterizes the Hoffmann team: meticulous document development, shrewd construction observation, and collaborative project management. At Hoffmann, he supports project teams in developing building enclosure solutions for property owners and managers across the greater New York City region.
Kelvin is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Outside the office, he enjoys exploring new restaurants and cuisines – omakase is a current favorite – and he is often at the gym, weightlifting and playing badminton. Fluent in Mandarin, Kelvin is also conversant in Cantonese and Fuzhounese.
